It's that time of the year again!  People are starting to think about the holidays, the weather is turning colder, and the leaves are dropping their leaves.  The holidays are right around the corner and you want to make sure you have plenty of warm Alpine Spice on hand.   Here at the winery, we are busy bottling Alpine Spice weekly.  The bottles fly off the shelves in our warehouse and before we know it, it's time to make some more.

That being said, people often ask how they should heat the Alpine Spice once they get home.  We recommend heating it on the stove top in a stainless steel pan or tea kettle.  Pour your bottle of Spice into the pan or kettle and place on the burner at a low temperature until it simmers (or until it reaches your desired temperature).  Just be sure not to bring it to a boil.   Once it's at the temperature you desire, remove from the stove top, pour into a wine glass (be careful since it is hot!), and enjoy!!!

Alpine Spice is delicious by itself but to add a little extra "warmth", try splashing a few drops of white rum on top of the warm Spice.  Yum!!!

We would love to hear from our Alpine Spice lovers!  Be sure to send us a Tweet or leave a comment here on the blog sharing your love of our Spice.  The best stories are the ones that come from people who share the Spice with friends and their friends reactions :)
